Korea Institute of Human Resources Development in Science & Technology (KIRD), as an integrated institution for development of S&T human resources, is executing an extensive range of activities necessary in the self-development, changes and innovation of scientists and engineers. In particular, the Ochang Independent Office Complex shall become the birthplace of the competitiveness of Korea in science & technology as the ‘hub of the science & technology industry’ that offers the best and highly reputed education and infrastructure, and as ‘the venue’among S&T HR for the cultivation of creative convergence and open cooperation talents.
Korea Institute of Human Resources Development in Science & Technology is leading the enhancement of the efficiency and productivity of the investment into the national research and development through the provision of a diverse range of education as well as investigation and policy researches necessary for the self-development,changes and innovation of the national S&T human resources.

2015.01 Designated as the institution for the execution of technological training of the human resources in science & technology
2015.04 Designated as the educational institution for disaster and safety
